Principal Planning Designer.
Our work is led by internationally acclaimed designer Xie Xiaoying, Principal Planning Designer. She received her education from Beijing Forestry University, Wageningen University in the Netherlands, the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture, and the Berlage Institute, where she developed a strong foundation in landscape architecture and urban design.
Through this diverse academic background, she has cultivated a unique cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural design approach that integrates landscape architecture, urban systems thinking, and ecological infrastructure into a unified vision. Her work is deeply rooted in advancing green development, with a focus on building national ecological life-support systems, integrating green infrastructure into both urban and rural environments, and delivering context-specific solutions that respond to local conditions, time, and human needs rather than standardized models.
She is particularly committed to strengthening the relationship between people and their environment, using design as a tool to enhance social cohesion, improve quality of life, and create meaningful public spaces.
Over nearly four decades of professional practice, her work has received more than 70 domestic and international awards, establishing her as one of the leading figures in contemporary landscape and ecological design.
